The solution for Project Management, fully integrated in ZenCRM, effective:

  1. at a strategic level for precise control over the progress of projects
  2. at an operational level for efficient and advanced project management

With ZenProject for each project you will have:

1. A WBS AREA – WORK BREAKDOWN STRUCTURE

from which to plan phases, activities and tasks, allocate the necessary resources, set timeline, evaluate and monitor the progress of a project to verify compliance with contractual conditions

2. A GANTT CHART

graphic representation of the total time frame used on a given projectand its breakdown by phases, activities and task

3. A P&L AREA – PROFIT AND LOSS STATEMENT

from which to draw economic information on the contract in progress. In this area it is possible to monitor revenues, costs, expenses incurred; it is also possible to check the profit margins and any economic deviations in relation to the estimat

4. A MANAGEMENT AREA FOR PURCHASE ORDERS

ZenProject includes a functionality for managing requests and purchase orders; in fact, if the realization of a project requires the purchase of one or more products and / or services from an external supplier, the PM will be able to make his purchase requests either directly from the P&L area or from the section dedicated.

5. A TIMESHEET AREA

for the detection of the daily activities carried out by each resource, the verification of progress, the measurement of performance in order to optimize and improve work methodologies, the cost of each resource is stored by the system, during the reporting phase. The costs of the resources are automatically received in the WBS and P&L areas in order to provide a realistic picture of the costs actually incurred in relation to those estimated in the estimate phase.

The ZenHR form for requesting holidays has also been integrated into the Timesheet. It is basically a set of functionalities aimed at automating operations such as requesting, planning and approving (the latter only for users profiled as ‘approvers’) of holidays.

The ZenProject SCRUM module

ZenProject is a solution that has succeeded in making the best of two methodologies: SCRUM planning and temporal planning of activities (GANTT) which allow optimal management of projects.

The ZenProject is also equipped with a project management module with Scrum methodology; more in detail, it is a set of features that will allow you to process and manage:

THE PRODUCT BACKLOG

From the Scrum section of ZenProject the projects that you want to manage with Scrum are chosen / selected (referring to the tasks of the single projects), on which the characteristic properties of the Scrum framework are defined:

– Business value

– Story point

– Importance

– State

TEAM AND RESOURCES

Selecting them from ZenProject users in which the following roles are distinguished:

– Product Owner

– Scrum Master

– Team members

THE SPRINT

In which all the tasks assigned to the various members of the Team are shown, which pass from the “To do” state to the “Done” state. Within the Sprint, ZenProject conducts an analysis of the “Capacity” of the team in order to monitor the “Velocity” during the Sprints.

BURNDOWN CHART

ZenProject also makes the Burndown Chart available to users: The graph that highlights the Sprint trend allowing you to monitor the team’s velocity, thanks to a graphical interpretation of the relationship between the ideal progress of the work done and the real one in terms of completed tasks.
