With ZenProject for each order will be available:
1. A WBS AREA – WORK BREAKDOWN STRUCTURE
from which to plan phases, activities and tasks, allocate the necessary resources, set times and deadlines, evaluate and monitor the progress of a project to verify compliance with the contractual conditions
2. A GANTT CHART
graphical representation of the total time spent on a given order and related breakdown by phases, activities and tasks
3. A P&L AREA – PROFIT AND LOSS STATEMENT
from which to obtain information of an economic nature on the contract in progress. In this area it is possible to monitor revenues, costs, expenses incurred; it is also possible to check the profit margins and any economic differences in relation to the estimate
4. AN ORDER MANAGEMENT MODULE
As part of the management of an order, it is also possible to manage purchases instrumental to the development of a project: the Project Managers can make their purchase requests (PRQ) directly from the P&L (Profit & Loss) area of the order module. Approver users will be responsible for approving or rejecting the PRQ. For each approved PRQ, a Purchase Order (PO) will be generated: the PO thus generated will enter a workflow to be submitted for formal approval by the Purchasing Department manager. 5. A TIMESHEET AREA
for the detection of the daily activities carried out by each resource, the verification of progress, the measurement of performance in order to optimize and improve working methods, the cost of each resource is memorized by the system, during the reporting phase. Resource costs are automatically included in the WBS and P&L areas in order to provide a realistic picture of the costs actually incurred compared to those estimated in the estimation phase.
The ZenProject SCRUM Module
ZenProject has managed to make the best of two methodologies: SCRUM planning and temporal planning of activities (GANTT) which allow optimal management of projects and orders.

THE PRODUCT BACKLOG
From the Scrum section of ZenProject the orders to be managed with Scrum are chosen/selected (referring to the tasks of the individual orders), on which the characteristic properties of the Scrum framework are defined:

THE TEAM AND THE RESOURCES
By selecting them from ZenProject users in which the following roles are distinguished:
– Product Owner
– Scrum Master
– Team members
THE SPRINT
In which all the tasks assigned to the various team members are shown, which pass from the “To do” status to the “Done” status. Within the Sprint, an analysis of the “Capacity” of the team is conducted by ZenProject in order to monitor the “Velocity” during the Sprints.
BURNDOWN CHART
ZenProject also makes the Burndown Chart available to users: the graph that highlights the progress of the Sprint allowing you to monitor the velocity of the team, thanks to a graphical interpretation of the relationship between the ideal progress of the work done and the real one in terms of completed tasks.
